Grand Portage Rendezvous Days Program and Powwow
Music, dancing, craft demonstrations, and hands-on workshops will be held at the Grand Portage National Monument Rendezvous Program. The Stockade, reconstructed buildings and historic encampment are open from 9 am – 5 pm. The event is held in conjunction with the annual Grand Portage Powwow, an American Indian cultural gathering focusing on dance, song and family celebration. Admission is free. Dancers of all ages will gather at the annual Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community Wacipi. Flag Raising: Saturday and Sunday at 9 am.
