White Earth June Powwow

The 150th Annual White Earth June Powwow and Celebration on. A celebration of the White Earth Reservation’s people and heritage. Around 1,000 dancers and 28 drum groups performed last year, with similar numbers expected again. White Earth Powwow Grounds, White Earth, MN.

Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe Grand Celebration Powwow

The dancing begins on Friday with Grand Entry at 7pm. On Saturday, Grand Entries are at 1pm and 7pm. Final Grand Entry on Sunday is at 1pm. Drum Contest Away Winners: $8000, $6000, $4000, $2000. Home Winners: $8000, $6000, $4000, $2000. World Jingle Dress Championship has top ten prize money: $2000, $1800, $1600, $1400, $1200, $1000, $800, $600, $400, $200. 2018 Leech Lake Fourth of July Powwow

Dance Specials: Old Style Jingle and Men’s Grass Dance Adult: $300, $200 & $100, Teens and Jr.: $100, $75 & $50. Must be in full regalia for contest registration. Friday: Registration is 5 -7pm, Grand Entry at 7pm. Saturday: 10am is Flag raising, 11 to 1pm is Registration, 1pm and 7pm are Grand Entries. Admission is free and open to all ages. All dancers will receive day money. The first five drum groups will be paid for the weekend. Registered drums must have at least five singers. 2018 Grand Portage Celebration Powwow

The annual Grand Rendezvous and Powwow at Grand Portage includes reenactors from across the country and Canada gather to camp and challenge each other to games and skills from the past, along with the powwow. Friday: 10am is Great Hall- Rendezvous Days Powwow welcome, Bingo at 4pm, Softball at 6:30pm and Powwow warmups at 7pm. Saturday: 8am is Mixed Softball Tournament, 1pm is Grand Entry. 3:30pm is Pricess/Brave Contest (Jr & Sr), 5pm is Feast, 7pm is Grand Entry. 2018 Pine Point Powwow

Three Grand Entries: Saturday at 1pm and 7pm and Sunday at 1pm. Pine Point features “The Rez Parade,” in which the ugliest, most rusted out, banged up, pathetic looking vehicle in the parade wins the prize.
