Marie Antonette Fasthorse, age 48, passed away on April 21, 2012 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born June 16, 1963 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Trinidad Gamboa Gardea and the late Pauline Fasthorse. Marie loved spending time with her family and friends; she enjoyed cooking, playing pool, bead working, doing puzzle books and riding motorcycles. She was funny, generous, easygoing, and always had a smile on her face.
Preceded by mother Pauline Fasthorse and Brothers Michael T. Fasthorse Sr and Lorin Stone. She is survived by her life-long partner, Kevin Schantzen; 4 daughters, Jeri Fasthorse (Larry Colquit Sr.), Savonni Aguilar (Scotty), Kristel Schantzen (Nate Jacques), and Stephanie Schantzen; 5 sisters, Rachel Gardea, Lori Gellings, Lorina Campbell, Corrina Gardea-Cervantes, Anna Gardea-Dezern ; 4 brothers, Joseph Fasthorse, Moses Gardea, John Stone, John Gardea; 4 grandchildren; Josiah Jacques, Isaiah Jacques, Elijah Aguilar, and Larry Colquit Jr. Visitation was April 27, 2012.
