AUDITIONS FOR THE ST. CATHERINE CHORAL SOCIETY 2010

Experienced singers from the community are invited to audition for the St. Catherine Choral Society August 1 through 13 at St. Catherine University.

Patricia Connors Ph.D. is the director. Call (651) 690-6688 to schedule an appointment. For further information, visit www.stkate.edu/music.

Rehearsals are held Thursday evenings and will begin Sept. 9. The St. Catherine Choral Society is a large mixed chorus, which combines St. Catherine University students, faculty, staff and experienced singers from the community in performances of symphonic choral works.

The choir performs two concerts per year, in O’Shaughnessy Auditorium and other venues, accompanied by a professional symphony orchestra and, often, guest soloists.

The choir first concert is November 14 concert and will feature Haydn’s “Lord Nelson” Mass and Stephen Paulus’s “Break Forth in Song.”
