The Circle’s annual fundraiser was held on December 13th at the All Nations Indian Church in Minneapolis. Guest speaker Marcie Rendon (White Earth Ojibwe) read from her new mystery novels, Murder on the Red River, and Girl Gone Missing.
Over 80 people attended the early morning event, enjoying a delicious breakfast while
listening to the literacy works of Rendon, who also sold and signed copies of her books.
The Asiginaak Singers, an all Native women drum group, performed beautiful songs during the first part of the event.
